If you like diving and snorkelling and everything else to do with it, the fishing village of Amed is the place to be. Amed is just one of the seven villages in the eastern shoreline of this island. It was and still is famous for salt farming and you could get a glimpse of it too, while you are there. The coastline is the perfect place to learn some diving too, if you don’t know it already or you could just go about exploring the surroundings of this calm and mostly untouched beach on a motorbike. There are a lot of things that one can do around here and no, it is not just snorkelling or swimming, though that is what is the most popular thing to do around here.
